What is the difference in battery life between Black & Decker Lithium Ion tool batteries and Ni-Cad drill batteries?
Under normal home household usage, the useful life of an 18V Ni-Cad Black and Decker battery is 150-200 full charge cycles before the Aussie power tool user will feel that the battery should be replaced. The average number of charging cycles which can be expected from a Lithium Ion battery is 500. If my Black and Decker A1714 power tool battery is not charging , what can I do to solve the issue?
If your original Black & Decker cordless drill battery is not charging and the charger is rapid flashing and the battery is warm, it may be too hot- particularly after heavy or continued use. If so, please allow the electric tool battery to cool for about 1 hour, then reinsert the battery on original charger to try charging again.
